Ever heard of South Burlington Rotary Club? Rotary International?
The South Burlington Rotary Club is a volunteer led group of like-minded individuals working together to help others both locally and globally and we have been a part of the South Burlington community for over 40 years! Last year alone we donated over $50,000 to charities like the South Burlington Food Shelf, Howard Center, Josh’s House and more. And this month, we gave dictionaries to all the third-grade students in South Burlington’s elementary schools – which we have been doing for over 20 years!
As part of our outreach to help community members learn more about our Rotary Club, we are hosting an Evening Membership Social on Thursday October 29 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m at the Vermont National Country Club. You will meet our members and some non-profit leaders that we support. It is a great opportunity to ask questions about what we do and hear testimonials from a few of our newer members as to what motivated them to join our club.

Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity

Brett Johnson, CEO of Green Mountain for Habitat for Humanity joins us to discuss the ongoings and happenings of the local non-profit. Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1984 as a 501(c)(3) who partners with famalies and the community to build permanently affordable and energy effecient homes in Vermont for famalies in need. School stationery project with Rotary International

Please join us as we welcome Elizabeth"Biffy" Danckwerts who will be discussing the school stationery project with Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation. Biffy is a member of the Constantia Rotary Club of South Africa who has more than two decades of experience with Global Grants, especially those benefiting children. We look forward to hearing Biffy's experiences and cuurent projects she is working on. Biffy will be joing us remotely for this presentation.
